Juliet Landau

Landau’s acting highlights include Drusilla on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER & spin-off ANGEL, co-starring in Tim Burton’s ED WOOD as Loretta King, starring opposite Whoopi Goldberg in THEODORE REX as well as Romana III in the BIG FINISH audios.Her recent television recurring roles include Rita Tedesco on Amazon’s BOSCH, soon in BOSCH LEGACY (coming out March 2025)and Cordelia on TNT’s CLAWS. Juliet’s next BIG FINISH venture is the audiobook series that was written for her, VAM PD. Season 1 releases Oct 31, 2024, season 2 in March 2025. Juliet is currently hosting SLAYIN IT, the first ever BUFFY rewatch podcast with a cast member as the guide! Juliet’s visionary, multi-award winning, feature film directorial debut, A PLACE AMONG THE DEAD had its Worldwide Blu Ray and Streaming release Oct, Friday the 13th 2024. The cast includes Gary Oldman, Ron Perlman, Robert Patrick, Lance Henriksen and Anne Rice, appearing for the only time ever in a scripted movie. Mostly in the can is, THE UNDEAD the only documentary series to gather the A-list of the vampire-genre together. Every one of the talented artists in A PLACE AMONG THE DEAD came back to participate, as did Tim Burton, Willem Dafoe & many other notables. Other acting work includes starring in over 20 films, appearing in many more, guest-starring frequently on TV, VO roles and an extensive roster of award-winning, leading roles in the theater. Juliet previously directed 2 short subjects: TAKE FLIGHT with Gary Oldman and DREAM OUT LOUD with Guillermo del Toro, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rian Johnson. She’s a member of THE ACTORS STUDIO, WOMEN IN FILM, FILM INDEPENDENT, THE ALLIANCE OF WOMEN DIRECTORS, BAFTA and is an alum of SUNDANCE COLLAB.
Craig Miller
Craig Miller started in Hollywood as a publicity executive, working with major studios on such films as Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, The Dark Crystal, Splash, The Thing, The Last Starfighter, Real Genius, Excalibur, etc. He then switched to writing and producing for television and has well over 300 TV credits – much of it in animation. He’s been a guest speaker at animation events all over the U.S. and abroad. His book “Star Wars Memories”, about his time at Lucasfilm, and his follow-up book, “More Movie Memories” about the films he worked on after Lucasfilm and his 30+ year “2nd Career” writing television, are available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart. Craig is very active in the L.A. fan community as well. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society for 10 years and worked on Loscon (starting with the very first one and chairing two of them since). He’s published fanzines, attended far too many conventions to count, and worked on many more.
Sarah Lynn Dawson
Sarah Lynn Dawson is a British actress, filmmaker, writer, and producer. Sarah trained as an actress at the New York’s Lee Strasberg Institute of Film and Television and has been acting since childhood, mainly on stage. She has produced, written, and acted in several short films. Her voice work includes the role of the Mother in the Oscar-nominated animated feature I Lost My Body. Sarah co-created and acts in the podcast Stepping into Shakespeare which features readings of classics such as “Hamlet” and “Twelfth Night”. She currently voices the audio descriptions on the Disney+ episodes of Doctor Who.
John Strysik
John Strysik was a director and writer on all four seasons of the syndicated television show Tales From the Darkside. He also directed episodes of Monsters and ABC’s reboot of Land of the Lost. He began his career adapting short stories by H.P. Lovecraft and Franz Kafka while editing industrial films and television commercials. John wrote the screenplay for the award-winning indie film Stuck, published fantasy novel A Hallow Heart and co-wrote Lurker in the Lobby – A Guide to the Cinema of H.P. Lovecraft. John has written two plays: Villainy ~or~ Holmes’ Own Story, about America’s first serial killer H.H. Holmes, and, most recently, Power & Light – a retelling of the historical Tesla vs Edison rivalry.
Marc Biagi
Marc Biagi returns as our Master of Ceremonies! Marc is a brilliant voice and character actor, well known for numerous video games and animated projects including Vector the Crocodile and Professor Gerald Robotnik in Sonic the Hedgehog games, Brian in Runaway, and numerous roles in Star Trek Online. Marc will also be presenting his very popular voice acting workshops again this year!
Sandro Monetti
Award-winning British journalist, Sandro Monetti, is a regular CNN contributor, co-hosts BBC Radio’s Oscar coverage each year, and was the most nominated reporter at the recent national arts and entertainment journalism awards. An entertainer as well as an entrepreneur, Sandro has written, produced and directed three different stage plays which have been hits around the world including Off Broadway in New York and in London’s West End, including a musical production of “Die Hard” for the stage.
The Idiot’s Lantern
Sketch comedy troupe The Idiot’s Lantern returns with an all-new show that explores the comical side of Doctor Who! Formed in 2009, they have performed regularly at Gallifrey One, San Jose’s Big Wow ComicFest, Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con, and at Silicon Valley Comic Con.
Geek Regeneration (Andrew Elkins)
Andrew is a long-time Doctor Who and Science-Fiction Fan who has become very well known for his 4th Doctor cosplay through Geek ReGeneration. Other cosplays include the Brigadier, the 3rd Doctor, The Master, Doctor Who/Disney mashup up – Mad4Hatter, Tony Stark, Doctor Strange and Albus Dumbledore. Over the past decade, he has produced or consulted on several large events including the Renaissance Pleasure Faire, Northern California Renaissance Faire, Nottingham Festival, Tumbleweed Township and more. In addition, he has spent over 25 years in the TV/Film industry doing development work. Currently he operates a management company for costumed performers and runs scavenger hunts at Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood. For the past few years, Andrew has performed in the Idiot’s Lantern sketch comedy show at Gallifrey One.
River Alexandra Song
Creating stories and content across all of space and time, River Alexandra Song is a writer, performer and cosplayer extraordinaire. She’s had many lives and many names, but use any but River and you may find you are missing internal organs (in alphabetical order). River has a degree in theatre from Northern Michigan University, she’s sung opera, established a dinner theatre company, was one of the founders of EZTV, worked with the LA Free Shakespeare Festival and produced a horror film. As luck would have it The Doctor and Captain Jack saved her sanity when she needed it most and she never looked back.
